Spring Bird Hike at Mine Hill, Roxbury – April 26
Come join us at Roxbury Land Trust’s Mine Hill Preserve in Roxbury 7– a mélange of habitats from Shepaug River Waters to upland forest as we seek out early spring migrants and other vernal wildlife. This area, once site of local mining and quarry operations, is a great place to check out healthy habitats and add up those daily cardio steps.

Meet – Roxbury Land Trust parking lot on Mine Hill Road off Rte 67 in Roxbury by the Shepaug River

Note: The bridge is still closed on Wellers Bridge Road, Roxbury, the short cut
connecting Rte 67 from Woodbury/Southbury in the village to Rte 67 across the river.
Follow detour directions around the loop to reach Mine Hill.
