DESCRIPTION: A.W. Stanley Park\, New Britain\n\nSunday\, October 18 @ 9:30 am – 11:30 am\n\n\n\n2159 Stanley St\, New Britain\nPark in the lot across from the pool building.\n(Note this is NOT Stanley Quarter Park\, also in New Britain) \nA.W. Stanley Park is a New Britain gem\, hosting a diverse community\nof resident and migratory birds\, with foraging mixed-species flocks\nassembling in October. We will take an approximately 2 mile route\,\nwalking on paved and unpaved trails through forested and open areas\naround the pond\, including a small hill and a cliff overlook\, and marsh\nand stream viewing areas. With luck\, the maples will be putting on a\ncolorful display. Dress appropriately for the weather. We will\nprobably spend a couple of hours in the park\, with many stops.
