River Road has produced a nice variety of Northwestern Connecticut nesting species including Acadian and Least Flycatchers; Yellow-throated and Blue-headed Vireos; Winter Wren; and Cerulean\, Golden-winged\, and Worm-eating Warblers. The vast uninterrupted forest rising from the river is an ideal location for a moderate to strenuous walk on beautiful terrain. \nMeet in Kent at the old train station\, 3 Railroad Avenue\, just north of the intersection of Routes 7 & 341. We carpool from there. \nLeader: Allan Welby\, 630-303-3411 or antpitta4@yahoo.com
