From East St drive 2.5 miles\nnorth on Loomis St to parking lot on left. \nLIMITED TO 15 PEOPLE – CONTACT JOHN AFTER 4/1 TO REGISTER\nOffering woodlands\, two extensive marshes\, a weedy field and a pond with active beavers\, Dismal Brook attracts a spectacular variety of birds (the site’s checklist numbers 143 species). The\npreserve boasts wide\, well-maintained trails\, two observation decks for viewing the marshes and comfortable benches at strategic points.
