Unlike our other bird counts\, this count is by towns in the greater Hartford area and lasts 3 weeks. Bird as much or as little as you like and report to as many town captains as you wish. DESCRIPTION:Longo Farms Open Space – Friday  – May 15 – 7:30 am \n2954 Hebron Ave\, Glastonbury \nEntrance sign next to driveway. Drive in 0.2 mi and park in lot. \nTruly a fun place to gather and learn about birds! Diverse habitats include: pond\, marsh\, farmland\, woodlands\, and succession growth. Can be very birdy including warblers\, some raptors and waterfowl. Protective boots and bug spray may be necessary. Hilly open trails.
