DESCRIPTION:Mindfulness Bird-Nature Hike at Earle Park in Glastonbury\n\nMay 30\, 2026  @  8:30 am – 10:30 am\nFree\n\n\n\nDescription\n\nA slow-paced walk along trails with some hills. Mainly forested land along the CT River. The focus of the hike will be observing\, listening\, and noticing birds and nature in a relaxed\, enjoyable manner. This hike is more about connecting with nature\, appreciating bird songs- behavior rather than just identification.\n \nI will invite you to participate in a 10-15 minute sensory awareness meditation (SAM) at the start. After the SAM\, we’ll walk 1-2 miles to explore several places throughout the park.\n \nRecommendations: wear sturdy footwear\, Dress for the weather\, bring water\, binoculars\, and/or a smartphone with the Merlin app.\n \nI’m a dog lover\, but no dogs on this hike.
