Located at the mouth of the Connecticut River and jutting into Long Island Sound\, Old Saybrook is uniquely situated to get a diversity of species in spring. We’ll search for sandpipers and plovers\, sea ducks and dabblers along one of the best spots in Southeastern Connecticut.The walk will be approximately 1 mile on level paved\, dirt\, and sandy terrain. With favorable weather and winds\, some species get a head start and we plan to greet them!
