RTP Estuary Center: Shorebird Walk
The Connecticut River is a major migratory flyway for shorebirds, as many species use the river as a feature on their journeys north. We’ll search for sandpipers and plovers at one of the best spots in southeastern CT.
The walk will be approximately 1 mile on level sandy terrain. Exposure to sun, heat, and wind possible depending on weather. No restrooms on site.
Register here: Shorebird Walk | May 9, 1:00pm – 3:00pm | RTP Estuary Center | The Connecticut Audubon Society
