Fall is one of the most best times to go birding in Connecticut, with lots of species making their way south for the winter. Hartman Park is one of the best spots for warblers in southeastern Connecticut, and the large wetlands, brushy habitats, and forests attract a diversity of species.
The walk will be approximately 1-1.5 miles on mostly level dirt terrain, with a couple of rocky sections and some roots across the trail. Portable toilet on site.
