New Canaan Nature Center: Birding Big Day Fundraiser

Our Senior Naturalist, Frank Gallo, and his teammates, the Raven Luna-ticks – Nick Bonomo, Patrick Dugan, Dave Provencher, Dave Trip, and Fran Zygmont will once again try to break the New England Big Day Birding record by finding 200 Species of birds in 24 hours within Connecticut.
The event will take place between May 15-20th on whichever day the team chooses. Currently, the Raven Luna-ticks hold the Connecticut Big Day Birding record of 193 species. The team is using the event to raise money for NCNC’s Education and Outreach Programs.
If you would like to support them, you can pledge per bird seen or donate a lump sum. It’s a wonderful event, and NCNC, Frank, and the team, thank you in advance for your support.
