Mattabeseck Audubon Society: Guided Bird Walk for CT Trails Day at I-Park
June 1 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Enjoy a guided birding walk led by members of Mattabeseck Audubon Society, a local chapter of the National Audubon Society. We are celebrating our 50th year in 2024. Expect to see and hear multiple species of birds in all of their breeding glory. We will have 10 pairs of binoculars to borrow. The walk will be held on the beautiful I-Park property. Founded in 2001 by Ralph Crispino, Jr. and Joanne Paradis, I-Park is a rural, retreat-type artists-in-residence program set within a 450-acre nature preserve in East Haddam, Connecticut. While the I-Park program is primarily focused on studio practice, nature serves as a peaceful, inspirational backdrop as well as a palette for aesthetic interventions. Bring bug spray. Please no dogs.
