Paul Carrier Hawk Watch – 3 days
September 16, 19, 20 (9 am – 2 pm)
Rt 20, West Hartland. From Granby center follow Rt 20 west for 14.8 miles. Park on side of road and walk south less than 100 feet Site is opposite 394 Center St (aka Rt 20), West Hartland
Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday
While we are planning for the 3 dates listed above, we will use the AllHAS e-mail to announce any changes based on weather and actual migration patterns. View Broad-winged Hawks at the peak of their migration through Connecticut. Bring a chair, binoculars, food and drink. Hours 9 am to 2 pm – come for an hour or stay all day. Scopes are helpful if you have one.
