- Early summer can be a quieter time for birding, as many species are breeding and nesting and prefer not to draw attention to themselves or their chicks. Discovering a nest or observing parent birds’ nesting behaviors is always a thrill. In this webinar, Conservation & Education Coordinator Joe Attwater will explore the different types, sizes, and shapes of nests, discuss how they’re built, and highlight nesting behaviors and specific nests to look for in Connecticut this summer.
