Audubon CT Sharon: What’s a Woodcock?

April 3 @ 6:45 am - 8:00 pm

$10

Few natural spectacles compare to the wonder of watching such a small bird conduct such a complex courtship display. As famed naturalist Aldo Leopold wrote, “No one would rather hunt Woodcock in October than I, but since learning of the sky dance I find myself calling one or two birds enough. I must be sure that, come April, there are no dearth of dancers in the sunset sky.” Join us in appreciating these spectacular sky dancers and learn about how you can support their conservation.
