Countdown for Connecticut Bird Atlas

Field work for the Connecticut Bird Atlas is nearly over. In January and February we will be into the late winter period, so Chris Elphick has posted a map of priorities for this final data collection phase of the project on the atlas blog:

Note that there are least a few of the priority blocks fall inside the count circles from Christmas Bird Counts. So, please keep separate lists for locations in different blocks and then share those lists with the atlas eBird account (ctbirdatlas). If you don’t use eBird, you can also mail/email data forms to us (details here: http://ctbirdatlas.com/Surveys-Data-forms.htm).
And, don’t forget that we will accept any past data that has not already been submitted.
