COA Leaders Discuss Birding for Bruce Museum Panel

The Bruce Museum in Greenwich, CT invited four birding experts who are current or former COA leaders to discuss birding’s popularity and role in science. What is the impact of birding on a local, national, and international scale, and what can birds teach us about ourselves?

The program titled “Bruce Presents: Birding, from Back Yard to Big Year” was held online via Zoom on November 23, 2023. Featuring Ryan MacLean of the Greenwich Audubon Center, Gina Nichol, founder of Sunrise Birding LLC (a company offering personalized authentic birding and wildlife tours), President of the Connecticut Ornithological Association Tom Robben, and federally licensed master bird bander Frank Gallo, this program promises to delve deep into the world of birding and will inspire even the most seasoned bird watcher.

Support for the program was provided by Berkley One, a Berkley Company.
