Tom Robben has announced the Summer Bird Counts in Connecticut for 2024.
“This is an important multi-decade effort, especially in these times of changing environments, with us birders having a unique window into Nature, to observe and document the changes, and to enter this data into secure multi-decade databases,” he says, “so that … bird scientists and conservationists can analyze the data and work to explain why these changes are happening.”
If you are proficient with bird identification, especially by song, and would like to participate, contact a compiler listed below in the area you prefer.
