Norwalk River Watershed: Bird Walk – 9/30/2026
. Join Jo and Adam Fasciolo, expert birders and NRWA Board member (Adam), for a guided walk explore the site, identify the birds we find, and document our observations to help capture Norwalk’s flora and fauna. Here are the birds Jo and Adam have seen recently at Andrews Field. The walk is open to folks of all ages and experience levels. Andrew’s Field is located behind the parking lot at 250 Westport Ave, with access from County Street. Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing for walking outdoors. Bring binoculars if you have them! We will also hear about the City’s plans to restore this unique habitat beginning in 2027. The Andrew’s Field Restoration Project aims to restore native habitat, manage invasive species, and create new opportunities for wildlife and passive recreation.
