New Haven Bird Club: Edgewood Park Field Trip

Field Trip – Edgewood Park, New Haven – DeWitt Allen
Edgewood Park is an important stop-over site for migrating birds in the fall, and a wide variety of songbirds, raptors, and land-birds are possible. Join us as we explore river, woods, pond, and open field habitats. The walk is easy and flat, but might include one dirt path through a wooded area and an often-wet field. Wear appropriate shoes. Total distance is approximately 2.5 miles.
Meet at the Edgewood Park parking lot off West Rock Avenue near the tennis courts, just south of Whalley Avenue, New Haven.
Leader: DeWitt Allen, 860-949-0995 or allendatlow@gmail.com
