Location: Bent of the River, Southbury
We will bird along the Pomperaug River to the historic barn and beyond. The Bent of the River is managed for shrub-land birds including Prairie and Blue-winged Warblers, Field Sparrows, and Indigo Buntings. The river has nesting Common Mergansers and Eastern Kingfishers. Meet at the Bent of the River parking lot at 185 East Flat Hill Road in Southbury.
