Hartford Audubon Society: Longo Farms – Open Space Bird Walk
Longo Farms Open Space – Friday – May 15 – 7:30 am
2954 Hebron Ave, Glastonbury
Entrance sign next to driveway. Drive in 0.2 mi and park in lot.
Truly a fun place to gather and learn about birds! Diverse habitats
include: pond, marsh, farmland, woodlands, and succession
growth. Can be very birdy including warblers, some raptors and
waterfowl. Protective boots and bug spray may be necessary. Hilly
open trails. This walk can be up to 2 miles depending on how
many birds we find and on the group pace. Plan for 3 hours.
