Birding for Pleasure: 2025 Connecticut Bobolink and Wildlife Festival in Durham

The free Connecticut Bobolink and Wildlife Festival in Durham is made possible with grants from Connecticut Ornithological Society and Hartford Audubon Society and a partnership with Durham Public Library.
The festival begins on July 12, 2025 with a bird/nature walk to count the Bobolinks at Frederick White Farm, then presentations and exhibit tables at the Durham Community Center. An afternoon bird/nature walk to count the Bobolinks is also planned. A light lunch from Carmine’s Pizza will be available.
Youth activities are planned for Sunday July 13 at Allyn Brook Park pavilion for students grade 5 and up.
The Connecticut Bobolink and Wildlife Festival in Durham brings together some of the best birding experts and artists in Connecticut.
