The Connecticut Ornithological Association (COA) is the only statewide organization dedicated specifically
to Connecticut's birds, birders, and birding.
Indexing past issues of The Connecticut Warbler is a COA work-in-progress. We hope to index all volumes in the near future. The collection will be added to in single volume increments as this project progresses. Every effort is made to index all authors and their articles along with species of birds mentioned in these articles and also species from Bird Counts and ARCC reports.
All efforts are made to make this as accurate as possible, please direct all correspondence to ctbirding@gmail.com for review. We hope this adds to your enjoyment of the Connecticut Warbler and birding in Connecticut.

COA has undertaken a project to scan 30 years of back issues of The Connecticut Warbler and offer older (2 years behind the current year) versions for public review as downloadable PDF documents. There is considerable work involved but eventually all issues will be available. At the current rate we hope to complete processing to Volume 1 by year end 2013. Special requests for volumes will be considered.
The volumes below have been scanned from paper copies, extensively processed in Adobe Acrobat Pro, and stored in PDF format. It is recommended that you use a current version of Adobe Reader to view the documents although other applications may also be able to process/convert the PDF files. Each volume is relatively large (10-16MB) so downloading may take considerable time on slower links.
Note that each volume is bookmarked (see the symbols in the left margin) and can be searched using the search feature (Ctrl-f) of Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat. The pages are presented in 1-up format but Adobe Reader offers an option to view them in 2-up mode instead. Scaling is easily changed with a button click too. The pages are presented for screen viewing but, if you prefer, Acrobat can rotate them (tables for example) for printing.
If you should notice any missing or obliterated content or other anomalies in a volume please contact us.
